In Colombia, 1 in 9 children (10.8%) suffers from chronic malnutrition and 50% of Colombian households lack access to sufficient food in quantity and quality to allow a healthy life.

One of the biggest problems worldwide is malnutrition , which is divided into two aspects: 1) malnutrition —which includes stunting and micronutrient deficiencies or deficiencies (lack of important vitamins and minerals); and 2) overweight and obesity leading to non-communicable diseases related to diet (heart disease, stroke, diabetes and cancers).

SOCIAL IMPACT

We have delivered more than 1,900,000 foods rich in vitamins and minerals to children with malnutrition or at risk of it in Colombia through our model 1 & amp; 1 and 2 & amp ; 1

Malnutrition and hunger, which are conditions generally caused by poverty and inequality, which leads to the lack of access to a balanced diet with the necessary nutrients and vitamins. According to the World Food Program, 805 million people suffer from some type of malnutrition and a third of these are children.

Overweight and obesity, which are caused by poor eating habits or ignorance of them, is a situation that generates different physical and psychological health problems. According to the World Food Program, 1.9 billion people are overweight and of these, 600 million are obese.
